There is a special offer at the end of this post, and the chance of winning a prize, so please keep reading !
‘ME time’
Ingredients:-
- 12 x 12 Crumb Cake cardstock
- Pool Party cardstock
- Lucky Limeade Cardstock
- White cardstock
- Everyday Enchantment designer papers
- Early Espresso inkpad
- Indigo Island inkpad
- Indigo Island re-inker
- Boho Blossoms punch
- Itty Bitty punches
- Elegance standard wheel
- Rik Rak ribbon
- Rhinestones
- Spellbinders scallop circle die
- Spellbinders circle die
Instructions
Step 1) Lightly spray 12x12 crumb cardstock with Indigo Island (dark teal) spray mist (I used a re-inker and diluted alcohol). I directed my spray into the centre of the page..
Step 2). Die cut a scallop circle using pool party cardstock. I used the second to largest die, Also cut out the second to largest circle die using one of the patterned papers (as shown).
Step 3) Using a different patterned paper, cut out a mat measuring 3 3/4” x 5” and ink the edges with Indigo Island inkpad.
This will be the second layer (blue paper with orange and white pattern)
Step 4) Cut another mat in a different patterned paper measuring 2 1/4" x 6” and ink the edges using Indigo Island inkpad. This will be the bottom layer. (blue paper with red dot)
Step 5) Using the same paper as in my sample, cut 2 strips – one measuring 1” x 7 ¼1/4” and another measuring 1” x 8” Ink the edges in Island Indigo.
Step 6) Cut the orange strip of patterned paper measuring 1” x 9 ¾3/4”. Ink the edges with Island Indigo.
Step 7) Layer all the mats as shown –- the bottom layer is the paper used in Step 4, and is placed 1cm from the right hand side and 4” from the bottom of the page. The next layer is the paper used in Step 3. Layer the remaining strips as shown, and staple the rik rak ribbon over the strips.
Step 8) Using a 2” x 2 1/2" photograph, mat this onto a piece of Lucky Limeade cardstock measuring 2 ½1/2” x 3” and adhere where indicated.
Step 9) Die cut a circle using Lucky Limeade cardstock, and then die cut a smaller circle and adhere to the larger circle, then adhere to the layout. This will be used for your journalling.
Step 10) Run a roller stamp inked with Indigo Island ink 5” across the layout from the left hand side. Punch out a circle in Pool Party cardstock, and using the same roller, roll across the middle of the circle. Add this circle to the end of the rollered strip (as indicated) using foam pads
Step 11) Stamp and cut out your title, and attach to the layout. I also added the word ‘time’ using letters from the Adornit alphabet.
Step 12) Punch out the flowers using the Boho Blossoms punch and the small flower punch from the Itty Bitty punch set. Add rhinestones and attach to layout where shown.
