Lots of Happy!

I am so happy to introduce you to the Lots of Happy Card Kit that you can find in the 2018 Spring/Summer Catalogue.

This is an all inclusive kit, which means everything is included!


Included in the kit are four watercolour pencils that are not included in the watercolour pencil sets!  A great way to add to your pencil collection! 



These are two of the cards that I have made using the kit - although I have altered them slightly as in I used different card bases .... and here is a useful Stampin' Up! video showing you the full kit.


Once you have completed the kit, there is a Refill Kit available to purchase too - I have already had to order a refill kit, as I've used up my first one!

Spring has sprung!

Merry a Christmas and Exciting New Year News!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and that you are looking forward to 2018.


We had a fabulous family Christmas. The Son and Heir was home from Uni and although not home for the big day, my twin brother and his wife were home too. It was great to spend some quality family time with them, and my mum was in her element.







The start to the Christmas celebrations was my cousin Geoff’s wedding. It was a beautiful event held at Thornton Hough Manor which used to be the home of Lord Leverhulme ... who was the founder of The Lever Company in Port Sunlight. This is a photograph of some of us including mum, my twin brother Colin and his wife Delene, and of course my Son & Heir Aaron.


I didn’t think that I would get to the wedding as I was due to have surgery on my ear two days before, but due to a horrendous cold, the operation was cancelled. So a bitter sweet happening really.

So onwards and upwards to Christmas ....presents were all bought and wrapped and we had made plans to travel down south to take the presents to Terrys sons’ family.  I’d popped in to my friends warehouse to drop off her presents when she accidentally knocked over a huge 20kg roll of paper onto my foot.... the result? ....






Yup .... a broken toe 😩

APOLOGIES!!! I thought this post had posted a week ago, but the schedule didn’t work.

Also, my new catalogues and SAB post hasn’t worked. I’ll get onto the laptop after tea and see what’s happened .... I’m trying to post this from my new iPad, but the screen doesn’t seem to be scrolling as I’m typing!  

Ok. I’m going to see if this posts ...... fingers crossed!

Earlier this year Stampin Up held the Birthday Wishes Challenge weekend as part of a 10,000 cards challenge. Now, we want to make the next challenge even BIGGER and BETTER! This weekend is the start of the Christmas Cheer Challenge weekend and SU have doubled the goal set for the entire year of 10,000 cards to 20,000!! The cards will then be sent to the Ronald McDonald House charity and sold from their outlets to raise funds.

The above card uses an old favourite of mine - Lovely as a Tree - it is a really simple card with an embossed background, one image stamp and one sentiment stamp - quick and easy!  This is one of the cards that i will be making tomorrow at my 'at-home Christmas Card Challenge event' ... if you're in the Wallasey area, and want to pop in, then please drop me a message.   Good luck to everyone taking part - i'm aiming for about 50-100 cards, but who knows .....

Lastly, I may be a little quiet for a while as i am going into hospital on the 14th December for another ear operation.  Unfortunately, the cholesteatoma that I had has recurred and necessitates the need for immediate surgery.  Although I knew this would happen, I didn't expect it to recur so quickly. 

I will be round and about though :)

Pre-Order your Stamparatus ( important details)



PRODUCT LAUNCH BY RESERVATION ONLY – IMPORTANT!
This product launch is completely different than anything we’ve ever done before, as we anticipate there to be an extremely high demand for this. Your tool will be ordered like a pre-order, reserve your spot, and wait for your tool to arrive. Doing it this way will stop out of stocks and back orders, although we will have to wait slightly longer, we will be more efficient in our inventory, happy and stress-free! Here’s how to reserve yours.
There will be three separate product reservation windows and corresponding shipping dates, (explained in the chart below). The first window opens on Thursday 16th November, at 21:00 GMT.

RESERVE YOUR STAMPARATUS IN THREE EASY STEPS

To reserve your Stamparatus, you must have a customer account in my online shop. If you haven’t got one, you will need to go to my Stampin’ Up! Online Shop (shop now - right hand side of my blog), then click Create Account and follow the on-screen instructions.
STEP 1 – Click the reserve button, RESERVE HERE or directly in my online shop! (This link will not work until Thursday 16th November at 21:00 GMT/ 22:00 CET)
STEP 2 – Your product reservation will appear on the screen. Customers are limited to 1 Stamparatus per Reservation Window. Please note, if you’d like to cancel your reservation you can do this on the same screen.
STEP 3 – A confirmation email will be sent to your email inbox, no payment will be taken during the reservation.
When the Stamparatus stock comes into the warehouse you’ll receive an email notifying you that your Stamparatuds order is ready. Your Stamparatus order will sit in your shopping cart, it is important that you DO NOT DELETE this item from your shopping basket, as your reservation will be cancelled. Then simply complete the checkout as normal, and yes you will be able to add other products to your shopping basket.

Eeeh it were good! NEW products too!

What a fabulous time we all had at convention this past weekend.

Six of our team and myself all tootled off down to Solihull for a day and a half of fun, laughter and sharing.

These were the team swaps that I made for each member of my team, together with a product-based thank you gift.


And these were the general swaps that I made - the smaller ones were the general swaps and the larger ones were for friends.  I made the contents of the jar myself and I must say that the house smelt beautiful for days!  It is Handmade Lemon & Lavender Body Scrub, and for those who have messaged and emailed me, the contents are:-

*Epsom Salts
*100% natural coconut oil
*100% Lemon essential oil
*100% Lavender essential oil
* Dried Lavender seeds

I used the Lemon Zest Stamp Set and matching punch (available as a bundle) to produce the 'decoration' ... I only bought the set for these swaps, but I truly fell in love with the set, and fully intend to use it a lot more!  Isn't it funny the way that happens ... 

I received tons of amazing swaps in return, and over the next few weeks, I will post some of them on my blog for you to see, and may have a 'live' Facebook session to go through them with you.

Anyway, Julie and I drove down on the Friday and stayed at the Crowne Plaza NEC - our room was phenomenal and the bed ... oh my giddy aunt - it was the most comfiest bed that I have ever slept in, in my entire life .. I wanted to take it home! ha ha ha 😁



On the Friday evening, I was very fortunate to attend a Stampin Up leaders evening called Centre Stage.  At this event, we have Leader training and then a very very nice meal afterwards.  We also receive our Convention bag and some goodies ... I can't show you the goodies yet as we're not allowed to show anything until tomorrow - I think ... I'll check!

Saturday came all too early, and as I said before, I did not want to leave my comfy bed .. however, I did, and was ready to be up and at it in no time.

Here are a few photographs from the day.  I love being able to share what I love with 100's of other demonstrators - rekindling old friendships and making new ones.  It really is a wonderful experience.

During the day, we are allowed to pre-pre Order selected products from the new Spring/Summer catalogue and Sale-a-Bration catalogue ... it really is hard to decide what to choose - if I had the money, it would have been all of it!  Honestly, there's lots to look ahead to, but that can wait for another day or so ...

Surprisingly, this also happened :o


Considering the last two years that I have had, this came as a huge surprise to me.  This was only achievable because of my lovely loyal customers, who have helped me through some hellish times.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
