Well, life has been a rollercoaster this last week. Convention started last Thursday evening with the Silver 2 Reception. It was an evening of catching up with old friends, and making lots of new ones
how small am I - everyone is towering over me ?!?!?! These were the beautiful tables with a stunning ice sculpture on the centre of each table, together with these beautiful gifts.
The amazing Pam Morgan gave a fantastic demonstration … and from Pam I learned that it is okay to flick glitter over hostess carpets and to wipe stamps clean on your jeans
On Friday, we woke up early to get ready to queue for the start of convention. I already had the jitters because I had been asked to run one of the Expo Demonstrator Booths. I’d been working for weeks to make up samples to show off a ‘secret’ NEW product from the forthcoming Spring/Summer catalogue !
This is me during my demonstration, and below are some of the projects that I made to show off the NEW product …
I’ll show some more samples over the next few days
These are the swaps that I made for general swaps, roomie swaps and team swaps …
On the Friday evening, we attended the Awards Evening, and I’m very proud to say that I won an award I came in the Top 5 for Leadership !!!!!!!!! Whoop whoop ! I couldn’t have done it without my amazing team though and you, my fantastic customers. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I did NOT expect this award at all, and it truly came as a shock ! Here I am receiving my award with the other top demonstrators.
Can you see the beautiful wrist corsage’s that we were given – what a lovely gift. I’m currently drying out my rose in the hope that I can press it.
There was an amazing after-Award night Party celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Stampin Up! where we boogied and scoffed our way through the evening.
Saturday morning found us up with the larks again, and the general sessions commenced. I learned lots of things together with hints and tips for running a successful business. Then it ended Far too fast for my liking.
However, the team and I had a quick mooch around the Christmas markets and then headed back to our amazing weekend apartment for a party !
Some of the things that came out of convention :-
1. Launched with immediate effect was the new Undefined stamp kit – fancy making a one-off, individual stamp for a special occasion ? Then it will be no problem with the Undefined kit – think of lino etching when we were kids, and this is similar
And here is a video showing how easy it is to produce your own stamps !

2. Convention for the next 3 years will be held in Brussels ! This is because Brussels is more accessible to ALL European Demonstrators – Would you like to be there ? Then why not join my amazing team ?
3. The Incentive Trip for 2015 will be in Madeira – again, to be in with a chance of earning this amazing trip, join my amazing team !
4. NEW products … did I mention that we got to see, and win lots and lots of NEW products ! Keep watching my blog in the next day or so … well the 1st December to be precise, to see some more NEW products.
Well, I’ll finish this rather long post for now …
I really want to thank all my customers and my amazing team for everything that you have helped me earn this year. Without you, I couldn’t have achieved what I have. The road is still long … and I look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you – so very very much x
Lets finish with the highlights ….. how many times can you spot me ?!?!?!
