Recycled Bliss

Although the Bliss set is unavailable now, it has become a firm favourite of mine, and I thought I would share this project.

I'm becoming more aware of recycling these days, and when I saw these four fabby picture frames at a car boot sale for 50p each, I grabbed them !

The background was distressed using various SU ink pads over meshing.  The next layer was stamped with early espresso using the fantastic En Francais background stamp.   Lastly, I over-stamped again using the Bliss stamp set and butterflies in Elegant Eggplant - and then the butterflies punched out.

Thanks for stopping by.   Hugs xx

This paper mache holder and coasters, was altered using the fantastic Play Date papers, and papers from the Brights Stack.  I've also used the new EXCLUSIVE SU! buttons embosslit which embosses and cuts at the same time.

The flowers were made using the Boho Blossoms punch - fantastic value at £15.50 which punches THREE different flower shapes.

Detail

This paper-mache altered jewellery box was made using ALL Stampin Up! products.   The papers are in the new mini catalogue and are called Springtime Vintage - lush eh ?!!  The flowers were made using a scallop punch, and the leaves were cut using the new Stampin Up exclusive leaf sizzlet.  The leaves were then coated in a mixture of dazzling diamonds, the new glass glitter and crystal effects.  All the papers have been inked using a combination of crumb cake and early espresso ink.

These papers are definitely one of my new favourites !!

If you are interested in any of the products you have seen used in this project, or want to learn more about the Stampin Up! range (please see the links on the right to the main catalogue and the new mini catalogue), then please contact me on carole.bryson@gmail.com or call me on 07799 250981
