2 Day Crop – 6th and 7th April 2013

There are only 6 places left for the 2 Day Crop being held at the Turf Hill Community Centre in Rochdale.  The cost of each day is £25 which includes all refreshments and meals.

MASH UP KIT – UPDATE

Having worked out the prices, and having ordered the supplies for this months kit, I have concluded that I would be over-charging for the monthly Mash Up kit Surprised smile Although I could top it up with other products, I'm sure that you have a lot of your own embellishments that you could use to personalise your layouts. You will still receive the video tutorial via The Mash Up Den on this blog and instructions for techniques etc.

Therefore, having given it some thought - I'm re-pricing the kits to £10 per month plus postage (£2.95 for pizza box).  I'm sure you all won't mind ??

I have three places left for this 10 monthly club.  You commit to spending £15 per month on anything you like from the current catalogues (plus postage) for 10 months – and during those 10 months, you will be the ‘virtual’ hostess, and will earn £25 to spend on anything you want !  I also run 10 Club FREE raffles, and you will also receive a monthly newsletter with offers and news updates.  It really is a great way of earning and spreading the cost of buying stash !

Thirdly – 2 Day Crop

I only have 6 places left for the 2 Day Crop that I am running on the 6th and 7th of April at Turf Hill Community Centre, Rochdale, Lancashire.

Come and join the fun for two FULL days of scrapping and laughter.  You can either come and scrap, or you can choose to take 6 classes over the 2 days from a choice of 12 classes (6 scrapbook classes and 6 card/craft classes).  You pick what classes you would like to take.  You can pick any combination that you want ! 

Penny Kafai (her blog is HERE ) has kindly agreed to design and teach 3 of the scrapbooking classes, with the other 3 being taught by myself.   Tammy Ogden is designing and teaching 2 of the card classes, with the balance being designed and taught by myself !

The cost of the crop is £25 per day, and the classes are £6.50 each. 

Accommodation is available locally in Travelodges or Premier Inns – just ask me for more details when booking your place.

A £10 per person per day deposit is due immediately, with the balance being due on the 28th March.  ALSO, payment for classes is due 28th Febuary in full, so that I can order products and supplies.

Gentle Reminder …

FIRSTLY - Please, please, please …. remember to store your Stampin Up! inkpads FLAT !   Our inkpads are made with the inkpad in the lid.  That means, that when you open up your inkpads, the pad itself is ready for use and is juicy.  The new style inkpads in particular are very, very juicy, and when you come to use them,  you literally just need to gently touch the pad with your stamp before stamping onto cardstock .  If you store them either upside down or on the side, then messy things can happen such as this ..…

Next up is a great new concept from Stampin’ Up! – Talking Tags!!  With Talking Tag, you can send a gift that is uniquely you. Talking Tag is a message label you can attach to cards, invitations, gifts . . . anything! Personalise birthday cards, gifts or even record quick instructions for a recipe. Now your pictures really can say a thousand words!

How to send a voice message:

  1. Download the FREE TalkingTag™ App on your smartphone from talkingtag.mobi, iTunes® or Google Play™.
  2. Adhere the message tag to your card or gift.
  3. Open TalkingTag™ App and scan the code.
  4. Record your message (recording starts immediately, so make sure you’re ready!).

You will have the opportunity to listen, re-record, cancel, or confirm your message after you’ve completed recording it. Each label allows up to 60 seconds of a greeting, song, or product message.

To play the message, recipients will need to download the app and scan the code.  Messages are saved for two years, so they can listen to it over and over.

How to Buy Talking Tags:

Buy ‘em by the sheet! You get 10 tags for just £7.25 (item 129723).

Helpful Tips:

  • Adhere Talking Tag to a flat surface, otherwise the scanner can’t read the code.
  • Multiple tags can be attached to one surface, but don’t place them too close together. When scanning a message, you shouldn’t be able to see another code on the screen.
  • Do not write or place any decoration over the label.
  • Talking Tag has a permanent adhesive and cannot be repositioned once attached to a surface. Attempting to remove it could tear the label, making it impossible to listen to the content.
  • A Talking Tag message label can only hold one message. Once a message is confirmed, it cannot be deleted or re-recorded.
